of rain in my rain gauge this morning. And about a foot of snow on the Superstition Mountains 3 miles away. There was a lot of snow all around us and some even in the northern 'burbs. It fell gently, for the most part, and soaked in. It's not nearly enough but it's better than nothing.
We sent it on but I'm afraid it went more north than east!

That's great news! While of course it isn't enough rain, you didn't want "enough" all at once, I know. That would be a very bad thing, and way more like what typically happens in Houston!
Still no rain here...but they keep teasing us with forecasts.
Yeah--remember, we were living south of 1960 when Allison decided to do her thing.
Man, it's nasty back there--KS/AR/MO and now it's in MS and heading for AL. Maybe the heat and dry isn't so bad after all?
What about the fires in the panhandle, news said it had burned an area as big as Massatutuis[sp] man, that is a lot of ground and it is still growing. Several small town have been evacuated, If it gets into the oil fields or the Helium field there will be hell to pay.
I wonder what we have done to warrent all of this, is someone trying to tell us something??
